Vizazi Uganda – Equipping Churches to Raise a Generation Rooted in Christ
Dear Pastors, Children’s Ministry Leaders, Disciple Makers, Volunteers, Friends, and Partners,Grace and peace to you in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
This Easter, I simply want to remind you of one powerful truth: Jesus is alive.
And because He lives, there is hope for every child, every family, and every church across Uganda.
As I reflect on our journey together, I am deeply encouraged by your faithfulness. Week after week, you show up for children, teaching, guiding, listening, and loving them. Yet we all carry a concern we cannot ignore: many children who once loved church do not continue in their faith as they grow.
This is why what you do matters so much.
At Vizazi Uganda, we believe discipleship must go beyond activity, beyond entertainment, and even beyond knowledge. Children need more. They need to know Jesus, experience His truth, and be guided in living it out through relationships with leaders who truly care.
And the good news is this: transformation does not require perfection. It begins with simple, faithful steps.
One child.
One relationship.
One moment of truth that leads to a real response.
As we celebrate the resurrection, may we remember that the message of Easter is more than just a lesson we teach. It is passed on through how we live, how we lead, and how we disciple.
To support facilitators and parents during this Easter season, Vizazi Uganda has made a free Easter Sunday children’s lesson available for download on our website. This resource is designed to help Children’s Church facilitators, teachers, and parents teach children the true meaning of Easter. We pray it will help you guide children to understand and respond to the good news of the risen Saviour.
Thank you for the sacrifices you make, often unseen. Thank you for choosing to invest in the next generation. Your labour in the Lord is not in vain.
Let us move forward together with renewed hope and purpose, asking ourselves this question:
Are we helping children simply attend church, or follow Jesus for life?
May the risen Christ strengthen you, fill you with joy, and guide you in all that you do.
With gratitude and love in Christ,
National Ministry Director
Vizazi Uganda
